La théorie refuse les préjugés du sens commun : la littérature comme essence ; l'auteur comme autorité donnant sens au texte ; le monde comme sujet de l'oeuvre ; la lecture comme conversation entre un auteur et son lecteur ; le style comme choix d'une manière d'écrire ; l'histoire littéraire comme procession des grands écrivains ; enfin la valeur comme propriété objective du canon littéraire.
La théorie a ébranlé le sens commun, mais le sens commun a résisté à la théorie. Et celle-ci a souvent forcé la note pour réduire son adversaire au silence, au risque de s'enfermer dans des paradoxes. Il est temps de revenir sur les grandes années de la théorie littéraire en France, afin d'en proposer un bilan.

"Relatos que no gustaron a mi mujer" es un conjunto de doce narraciones de diversa índole, intentando así que cada relato sea nuevo, que sorprenda al lector con algo distinto. Como nexo de unión entre ellos aparece casi siempre la figura del tío José. Un hombre mayor que vive en un entorno rural que bien podría ser cualquier pueblecito de España. En muchas de las narraciones es en ese ambiente de pueblo pequeño y campo donde se desarrollan los acontecimientos. Este personaje en algunos relatos es el protagonista, sumergiéndose en un clima de misterio. En otras ocasiones pasa de puntillas pretendiendo que las lágrimas casi lleguen a nuestros ojos. Hay relatos en los que simplemente no aparece para no abusar de su figura, pero el lector puede legar a notar su presencia. En definitiva, este proyecto pretende recuperar, aunque sea de una manera ficticia, la figura del cuenta-cuentos. Intenta evocar la sensación infantil que provocaba un buen relato ante una hoguera en el campo o antes de irnos a la cama.
